Its been almost a year since the original post of Lexy & Jared’s wedding over at Snippet & Ink, but I just had to share with you. It was new to me, perhaps its new to you too! Mixing a little bit of vintage, a lot of motherly love and throw in a few old prom dresses and this is one party. Mother of the bride played a big part in her daughters wedding, coming up with the whole “theme”, making the beautiful belt for Lexy and even spiced up her shoes with vintage buttons from the brides great Grandmother! And the flowers, way too cute.
Each bridesmaid donned a vintage prom dress in a pastel palette. How fun is this!? I am a huge fan of the wedding party wearing different colors, it makes for wonderfully colored pictures!
For the favors, buckets were filled with homemade cookies, Yahtzee games, cards and pencils. A fun little touch, and a great way to entertain a few of the younger guests at the tables while their parents got their groove on. And judging from the conga line above, there was some serious dancing at this party!
