I am so happy the whole craft thing is huge right now… it gives so many of us a chance to get all artsy and make things.  Hopefully it won’t fade away anytime soon, I am just enjoying it way too much.  Etsy is my new best friend, you can find great items from people just down the street or from across the world!  While browsing this morning, I came across Maria Konstantin’s shop and there are all kinds of lovely of little crocheted goodness.  All the way from Bulgaria, Maria’s shop is filled with gloves, scarves and crafting embellishments, all hand crocheted.  A few of her items that are just too good looking to pass up!

I am trying really hard to start wearing gloves.  The fiance got me a pair of antique crocheted ones about a year ago and I have only worn them once… but in my defense they are white and I can’t get over the thought of staining them!  I wouldn’t mind however slipping on either the Green Fairy fingerless gloves or the Vampire Romance cuffs!

Loving these playful and girly flowered scarves!  Light enough for a summer night, they are perfect to add a little something to an outfit.  The Flower Wrapped Necklace and the Spring/Summer crocheted lariat are just too cute.

These green Ivy leaves are perfect for adding to any crafting project.  Oh all the possibilities!

These days, I simply can’t get enough of crafting.  Not only do I highly enjoy doing it (there is just something about creating a piece of art, whether its painting, sewing, drawing or scrapbooking) and I could not pass up the photos from Tara Anderson over at The Pink Couch.  Not only are her crafts amazing, she is selling some of her stock at her store, With a Twist, but her photos of her work are works of art themselves.  After browsing her flickr photos, and realizing I must get a new camera, I thought I would share some of Tara’s work.

Everything is custom

I have always wondered just how to make a beautiful, detailed rubber stamp, and thanks to Geninne over at Geninne’s Art Blog, now I know.  She was thoughtful enough to make a 10 minute video on her stamp making process, all to inspiring music.  Perhaps its because I am in the middle of hand-making my wedding invitations, but rubber stamps have become my best friend, using one to stamp the invite on fabric!  Now, to start creating all the ideas in my head!
