Happy Tuesday everyone.  Its time for a little stroll through Etsy.  Shall we….

First up are the darling designs from Carambatack Design.  Each piece is created by Annette Mangseth from Norway, and has a one of a kind feel.  Prints, original illustrations and ACEO (art, cards, editions and originals) kept me clicking and clicking, I just love them all.  And if you fell in love with Annette’s shop, stop by her Flickr photostream where you can find her paper and crafts, carved stamps and tons of drawings.

Now this next shop is geared more toward the little guys and gals.  More and more of my friends are having babies, and its important to give your little one a colorful place to lay their little heads.  Barking Bird Art has cute and colorful creations designed by Rebecca from Portland Oregon.  These are sure to make that kiddo smile and stimulate creativity.

And last but certainly not least are the designs over at Maryink.  I am a total tee shirt and jeans kind of girl, but its so hard to find something that is age appropriate and worthy of wearing.  I could so see myself in these shirts, and most are 100% organic cotton so you know they feel fantastic! Each shirt is created using found vintage items, original illustrations, clip art and photography and are then printed by hand.  And, everything in the store is on sale!

Its Tuesday and you know what that means!  Etsy Top 3 Tuesday!

First up is a little shop filled with adorable little sketches. Flapper Doodle, run by artist Kate Gabrielle from New Jersey, is loaded with little doodles of “Eloise and Ramona” out on the town and strutting their stuff.  Be sure to check out her whole collection, they are darling and if you are crunching your pennies these days, don’t fret, Kim is offering a fantastic little deal.  Now until 1/21, all her 4×6 mini doodles are only $1!  So please browse and buy… a few of these little guys would make a darling little collection.  Just saying! And check out Kate’s blog to stay up to date on all things Eloise.

Next up is the talented Geninne from Geninne’s Art Store.  Now, Geninne is no stranger here on the blog, her work was also featured here, as well as this totally helpful video she shot on making a rubber stamp.  Can I just say, after watching the video, it inspired me to start making my own!  Anyway, her shop is just filled to the brim with colorful images that are just begging to make a new home for your walls.  And do check out her blog for amazing inspiration and shots from her hometown in Mexico City.

And rounding out what seemed to be an all art Tuesday is Yellena‘s colorful shop.  You know me and my love for all things color, Yellena has an amazing eye for detail and patterns.  Organic and whimsical shapes must fill her brain to get these little masterpieces.  And she doesn’t stop at prints and paintings.  Check out her amazing light fixtures for School House Electric, they are divine!

I might just have to snatch up “Spore” (above right).  I seriously heart it.

Its Tuesday and you know what that means, my top 3 etsy shops for the week!

First up is the beautiful photography from Irene Suchocki, an amazingly talented photographer.  Irene plays with a variety of techniques to create these amazing shots, and her attention to detail is just lovely.  Subdued colors mixed with bright pops of contrasting hues make me swoon over every piece, that little Twitter piece is just darling!  And now until January 15th, Irene is offering a 25% off on selected prints!!  Not looking for art for the walls?  She also has charming Valentines Day cards available, its never too early to start collecting goodies for your loved one!

Nest up are the adorable creations from Lila Frances out of Tennessee.  I don’t know of any other way to discribe these little guys other then adorable.  Clearly made with love, this little shop provides customizable wire hangers (even as I type that I think of Mommy Dearest and her no wire hanger talk!) that are perfect for a little gift or make for a great dress photo on your wedding day.  And that heart, Valentines day, that’s all I’m saying.  There is currently a waiting list for these lovelies, so be sure to stop by and order yours today!

Rounding out this week is the beautiful views from GBrosseau Photo.  Not only is this shop filled with sweet and charming shots, most are of subjects we take for granted like motels, lakes and old architecture.  Sure we see it everyday, but do you really look at it?  I think I love it all!  And did I mention the shop is offering free shipping!  Do check out the artists Flickr photostream, absolutely gorgeous.

Its Tuesday and Etsy Top 3 is back!  Took a short break from Etsy since most of the fun shops were closed, but everything is open and ready to sell!

First up today is the Happy Papers shop run by Natalia and Ana from Argentina.  They have created an adorable one stop print shop for your downloading fun.  Everything comes in a PDF form and you can print till your little heart can’t take anymore!  And with a large variety of designs, there is something for everyone!  From calendars and invitations to gift tags, stationary sets and even a to do list, Happy Papers is one fun shop.  And do stop by their sister store, Maria Lunate, where you can find even more adorable downloadable’s.

Next up is the handy work from husband and wife team David and Meegan Cuzick over at Circles and Squares.  Clothing made from organic cotton for women, men and children, these shirts and sweaters are perfect for a day out and about.  Each item is hand silk screened with love and ready to ship!  And from now until February 1st, everything in the store will be marked 20% off!

Its Tuesday and have I got some fun Etsy finds for you.  Now that most people are on some type of budget for the holiday season, why not do some early shopping with all the talented folks on Etsy.  Today I am showcasing finds that would make for some great gifts, or you know awesome additions for yourself too!

First up are the lovely finds over at CC Star.  If you have a love for fun, bright vintage fabrics, then  you will love Celeste’s shop!  Lately I have had a fascination with little buttons and have started collecting them for a larger project, and some of these are just way to perfect to pass up!  CC Star is filled with coin purses, cuffs, buttons and small pouches all made with found vintage fabrics and ties!  How cool is that!  And if you are in Northern California and are just loving all the crafty goodness, be sure to stop by all the craft fairs CC Star is participating in, I sure wish I could! Next up are the fun finds from The Crafty Pantry.  Using drawings, paintings, photography and digital drawings, this talented lady has a fun and colorful collection of totes, cards, gift tags, lunch bags and even wine bottle bags.  I am just loving all the bold colors, and want all the totes!  How perfect is that Cheers bag for wine gift giving… it will look so much better then sticking your bottle in one of those holographic bags.  And those produce bags, I think I need an entire case of those for this veggie eatin’ household! The 3rd shop for the day, Rohmer,  is filled with all kinds of fun pencil cases made from colorful and whimsical prints.  Like me and a little old for pencil cases? And on a side note I somehow managed to find two stores today that are both located in the Oakland area… a short driving distance from my hometown!!

Its Tuesday and you know what that means.  My top etsy picks for the week.  A little home decor, a few ceramics and some wall vinyl.  Its a good Tuesday.

I can’t express how much I love mixing traditional and modern designs, and these ceramics from Nina in Vorm are impressive.  Nina has a great eye for details in her custom screen printed ceramics and vintage “redecorated” ceramics.  What a great way to enhance all those old dishes!  Each of her pieces is very handmade, using a combination of slipcasting and hand shaping.  The result, one of a kind pieces that are just so much fun to look at.  I think each time I look, I find something new in her designs!  If you are loving her work as much as I do, you must check out her blog.  Hello color.  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Next up are the findings from Sky Parlor.  If you have a love for vintage and quirky little additions for your home, then you must stop by and take a look around.  All of their items have a slightly worn feeling, in a good way.  Little accessories are a good way to create small vignettes in your home.   Its a great way to show off a collection or showcase your favorite pieces, and because it is small, you can often change it out without spending a dime!   A few of Sky Parlors items that I wouldn’t mind finding a place for in my house… 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

And last but not least today, how about some wall graphics?  Designer Michelle Christina has some pretty fun wall vinyl and stickers that can really make an impact on any average wall, glass or even toilet.  Just check out her blog for some ideas.  I just love the fun factor of her designs, who said that wall graphics have to be formal and always grown up anyway.  And those stickers for glassware are a perfect way to add a little pizazz to your ordinary cups.  I think those pink jellies are my favorite, I could see them adding some fun to any bathroom! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

Time for some Etsy Top 3 Tuesday, and boy did I need it.  The husband has been home sick for 4 days now, and its getting harder and harder to stay productive when you have a sick guy on the couch!  So, some time spent wondering aimlessly on Etsy was the perfect way for me to get back to normal.  Today I focused on all things local, to me.  Each shop is located in L.A and are filled with fun finds.

First up are the amazing photographs from artist and commercial photographer Sharon Montrose.  If you are an animal lover, you simply must check out her shop, and blog!  Back when I was a wee little one, my dream job was to be an animal trainer, although what 8 year old girl didn’t want to work with animals??  Each animal is real, and most are housed in a local private California zoo.  These are perfect for framing and would make for a lovely gift, hint hint.  I was in love with every animal, just look at that adorable little porcupine, then I stopped by her blog.  Whoa. Her puppy shots make me all kinds of giddy! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

After all the animals, I cruised on over to EfiaFair, where all things are warm and fuzzy.   Even though a winter in L.A consists of temperatures close to 70, a girl can never have too many scarves.  I just love yarn, and have a small obsession with knitting, and these little lovelies from EfiaFair were just calling my name. Mixing in a little fun, a little practicality and a whole lot of warmth, these accessories are perfect for our fall/winter weather.  See something you like, but would work way better for you in a different color?  Custom orders are also available!  I would so rock those gloves with bows any day. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

And last but not least, for all of you out there like me that have a certain problem with dropping our phones and iPods do check out the wares over at Sea Side Sew.  I don’t know how many times I have dropped my phone, some have been rather interesting too, including the time I tried to buckle my seat belt with phone in hand.  It went sailing right out the window and under my car!  If only I had one of these cases, the phone probably would have made it.  So for all you iPhone carriers, wrap it up!  And, most are even water resistant… although Im not sure how it would stand up to, say a nice dunk in a toilet!  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
