I would say about 99% of the time here, I am showing great products that are geared more toward the ladies, but I didn’t forget about you fella’s!  So for today, I wanted to share with you the fun things over at Mister, a company all about tailored accessories.  I am a huge fan of the bow tie and am so excited that they are making a comeback!  For men, clothing is usually a solid color, nothing bright and fancy, till you get to the tie… or bow tie.  These tiny pieces of fabric are the perfect way to throw in some personality and color into your everyday life.  But back to Mister, on their site you will find the bow tie collection as well as get a few style tips from their Style section, that way you are assured it really is supposed to look like that.  And, for all those out there that don’t want to rock the real thing, in the Fun section, you can find a downloadable template to print out your own paper bow tie or even a mustache, creating hours of fun for the office!  So go browse, print yourself a mustache or bow tie and get inspired on how to wear these fun little accessories.  Oh and ladies, you can so get in on the fun too, check out Miss Lorianna rocking the Mister Ginham Classic tie!

And last up for this week is the findings from Vintage Chevelle.  Aside from an awesome name, this shop has some lovely finds that would be perfect for a little change around your place.  Keeping accessories dust and clutter free are a must, but collections are always fun to have around.  Sitting on my bookcase I currently have a wedding photo, our guest book, a framed music page with a song written by my father in law to my husband when he was little, a painting and two Simpson bobble heads (can you tell which was the addition from the hubby?!).  As long as it makes sense to your personality, the collection doesn’t matter!  And Vintage Chevelle has all kinds of little trinkets to make a house a home. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Time for some Etsy Top 3 Tuesday, and boy did I need it.  The husband has been home sick for 4 days now, and its getting harder and harder to stay productive when you have a sick guy on the couch!  So, some time spent wondering aimlessly on Etsy was the perfect way for me to get back to normal.  Today I focused on all things local, to me.  Each shop is located in L.A and are filled with fun finds.

First up are the amazing photographs from artist and commercial photographer Sharon Montrose.  If you are an animal lover, you simply must check out her shop, and blog!  Back when I was a wee little one, my dream job was to be an animal trainer, although what 8 year old girl didn’t want to work with animals??  Each animal is real, and most are housed in a local private California zoo.  These are perfect for framing and would make for a lovely gift, hint hint.  I was in love with every animal, just look at that adorable little porcupine, then I stopped by her blog.  Whoa. Her puppy shots make me all kinds of giddy! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

After all the animals, I cruised on over to EfiaFair, where all things are warm and fuzzy.   Even though a winter in L.A consists of temperatures close to 70, a girl can never have too many scarves.  I just love yarn, and have a small obsession with knitting, and these little lovelies from EfiaFair were just calling my name. Mixing in a little fun, a little practicality and a whole lot of warmth, these accessories are perfect for our fall/winter weather.  See something you like, but would work way better for you in a different color?  Custom orders are also available!  I would so rock those gloves with bows any day. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

And last but not least, for all of you out there like me that have a certain problem with dropping our phones and iPods do check out the wares over at Sea Side Sew.  I don’t know how many times I have dropped my phone, some have been rather interesting too, including the time I tried to buckle my seat belt with phone in hand.  It went sailing right out the window and under my car!  If only I had one of these cases, the phone probably would have made it.  So for all you iPhone carriers, wrap it up!  And, most are even water resistant… although Im not sure how it would stand up to, say a nice dunk in a toilet!  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

Its Tuesday and you know what that means.  I may get a little too excited over Etsy, but there are just so many ridiculously talented artists and designers out there, I just want to gush about them all.  Ok maybe not all the shops.

First up is Super Duper Things by Louloudo.  Im not going to lie, this shop had me just by its name.  These days I am all about girly, frilly accessories and animals as decor.  Don’t know why but I’m going with it, and its starting to look like I’m not the only one!  Louise has filled her shop with lovely vintage finds as well as some pretty snazzy costume jewelry.  I personally prefer costume to the real stuff, that way its way less heart breaking if something happens to a piece.  I seem to get long necklaces caught on tables as I stand up, every time.  Its a major problem. And do check out Louise’s blog for more fun Etsy finds and fun randomness! 1. Hare Silhouette 2. Diamond in the rough 3. Sailor Jerry anchor button ring 4. Creme Caramel button hairslides 5. Jack Frost recycled pendant 6. Stag Silhouette

This next Etsy shop works a little different.  Everything is totally customizable!  If you are planning an event and need a little logo to help with the look, my I suggest you take a look over at Goodpaper.  Designed by Emily Ley, these little beauties are perfect for adding little touches.  Remember, its all in the details!  Below are just some of the designs this lovely lady has done so far, but I am sure if you give her an idea, she will run with it!  Plus, you get the design in 1-2 days… who can beat that!?  While the website is still in the works, do check out her blog for all kinds of paper and printing goodies!  And if your on twitter, Emily also shares some pretty fun links too!

Today’s final Etsy shop is Hypernoodle2, a fun fabric shop.  Looking for that perfect fun fabric to update your place?  Be sure to take a look at the colorful and patterned designs, they are perfect for small projects and are sold by the yard.  And with prices as low as $7.50, why  not grab a few yards for future projects!  Or in my case, a fun addition to my ever growing side projects pile! From left to right: Candy LG Whimzie Doozie, Pink/Coccoa disco dots, Boy Groovy Guitar in blue, Zoology, Ink disco dots, Par Avion Summer, Dandy Damask in cocoa/pink, Feelin Groovy Orchid, and Leaf Gothic Flower.
