I would say about 99% of the time here, I am showing great products that are geared more toward the ladies, but I didn’t forget about you fella’s! So for today, I wanted to share with you the fun things over at Mister, a company all about tailored accessories. I am a huge fan of the bow tie and am so excited that they are making a comeback! For men, clothing is usually a solid color, nothing bright and fancy, till you get to the tie… or bow tie. These tiny pieces of fabric are the perfect way to throw in some personality and color into your everyday life. But back to Mister, on their site you will find the bow tie collection as well as get a few style tips from their Style section, that way you are assured it really is supposed to look like that. And, for all those out there that don’t want to rock the real thing, in the Fun section, you can find a downloadable template to print out your own paper bow tie or even a mustache, creating hours of fun for the office! So go browse, print yourself a mustache or bow tie and get inspired on how to wear these fun little accessories. Oh and ladies, you can so get in on the fun too, check out Miss Lorianna rocking the Mister Ginham Classic tie!

Each toy is handmade with love and made from Ohio Maple and finished with certified organic flax seed oil, so you can rest a little easier knowing your tot isn’t gnawing on plastic! Included in the collection are teethers, rattles and block play sets, all giving hours and hours of fun and safe play! Do you ever come across something, in this case an artist, and literally fall in love with everything they have ever done? Yeah, that just happened to me. I somehow stumbled upon Tumblr (more on that later!) and just couldn’t get enough of these little figures by Kurt Halsey. There is something so genuine and in the moment about these little guys. So after browsing his blog, one look at his shop and I was done for. Plus, Kurt just seems like a pretty awesome guy, and dreams about the being a part of the Steve Irwin! Below is just some of his work for sale, his tumblr, Kurt.Halsey.is.love has tons of recent drawings for your viewing pleasure. And, for anyone living in Philadelphia, stop by and check out his work at the Art Star Gallery & Boutique, open till November 1st. I would be totally jealous.
I stopped by A + R this morning and just fell in love with these little guys by product designer, Matteo Cibic. Debuted at the 2009 Design Week, these little creatures he likes to call Domsai, they are just too cute and perfect for vignettes in your home. Standing at only 11″ tall, they make a perfect terrarium for your tabletop and bring in that whimsy feel. Cibic describes the Domsai as a tamagotchi for our desks. Remember those? Except now instead of “feeding” your pet before it died, you have to water your Domsai to keep it happy.
And those aren’t the only cute little things Matteo Cibic has under his belt. After perusing his website, this is one talented guy!
