Its Tuesday and you know what that means!  Etsy Top 3 Tuesday!

First up is a little shop filled with adorable little sketches. Flapper Doodle, run by artist Kate Gabrielle from New Jersey, is loaded with little doodles of “Eloise and Ramona” out on the town and strutting their stuff.  Be sure to check out her whole collection, they are darling and if you are crunching your pennies these days, don’t fret, Kim is offering a fantastic little deal.  Now until 1/21, all her 4×6 mini doodles are only $1!  So please browse and buy… a few of these little guys would make a darling little collection.  Just saying! And check out Kate’s blog to stay up to date on all things Eloise.

Next up is the talented Geninne from Geninne’s Art Store.  Now, Geninne is no stranger here on the blog, her work was also featured here, as well as this totally helpful video she shot on making a rubber stamp.  Can I just say, after watching the video, it inspired me to start making my own!  Anyway, her shop is just filled to the brim with colorful images that are just begging to make a new home for your walls.  And do check out her blog for amazing inspiration and shots from her hometown in Mexico City.

And rounding out what seemed to be an all art Tuesday is Yellena‘s colorful shop.  You know me and my love for all things color, Yellena has an amazing eye for detail and patterns.  Organic and whimsical shapes must fill her brain to get these little masterpieces.  And she doesn’t stop at prints and paintings.  Check out her amazing light fixtures for School House Electric, they are divine!

I might just have to snatch up “Spore” (above right).  I seriously heart it.

So now that winter is upon us, well sort of in Southern California, I have broken out the old votives and started lighting at around 4 pm!  Seriously, its pitch black here by 5.  Candles are such a great way to bring in light, and everything looks good in candle light.  Made an average dinner?  Throw some candles on the table and it instantly looks like a 5 star meal.  They can instantly give an area a warm glow and make everything incredibly inviting.  So with that, I took to my favorite sites and found all kinds of holders, ranging in sizes, shapes, colors and prices.  Best deal, check out number 5, its a whole 95 cents!  And now that the holidays are coming, they are the perfect accessory for any tabletop or cluster them together for a focal point, just stay away from the scented ones, especially if you are cooking!!

And last up for this week is the findings from Vintage Chevelle.  Aside from an awesome name, this shop has some lovely finds that would be perfect for a little change around your place.  Keeping accessories dust and clutter free are a must, but collections are always fun to have around.  Sitting on my bookcase I currently have a wedding photo, our guest book, a framed music page with a song written by my father in law to my husband when he was little, a painting and two Simpson bobble heads (can you tell which was the addition from the hubby?!).  As long as it makes sense to your personality, the collection doesn’t matter!  And Vintage Chevelle has all kinds of little trinkets to make a house a home. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Mo Man Tai

If your a frequent reader, first, thanks, second, you know of my fascination with mixing modern and traditional elements to create an amazing space.  And boy to I have a perfect example of it today!  Designed by Mo Man Tai‘s Ulrike Jurkles and Roel van Hove of Etsprit, these tables are simply stunning.  Made using recycled tables, Ulrike created a lacy design and had it etched into stainless steel to create a modern touch to an ordinary tabletop.  I fell in love with the tables, until I started perusing her products, I will take one of everything!  The Luminaire Travia, below is a perfect way to add a touch of detail and give off light in some amazing patterns.  In addition to all the etched work, Mo Man Tai (which is Cantonese for No Problem!) has also created a series of canvas collages.  Meant to bring affordable artwork to everyone, these guys come in several sizes and are in  limited circulation only.  For more info, be sure to check out their site.
